David is originally from Toronto, Canada and grew up in Battle Creek, Mi. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a degree in Economics and Accounting. During his time at the University of Michigan, he had the opportunity to attend Semester at Sea, where he was able to visit 9 countries around the world (Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Kenya, South Africa, Brazil, and Cuba). During his voyage he was able to visit some of the most magnificent wonders of the world, including The Great Wall of China, The Taj Mahal, Masaii Mara of Kenya, and Table Mountain in S. Africa.
