David is originally from Toronto, Canada and grew up in Battle Creek, Mi. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a degree in Economics and Accounting. During his time at the University of Michigan, he had the opportunity to attend Semester at Sea, where he was able to visit 9 countries around the world (Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Kenya, South Africa, Brazil, and Cuba).
